“A woman is like a tea bag – you never know how strong she is until she gets in hot water.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

International Woman’s Day is celebrated every year on 8th March to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women worldwide. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. International Woman’s Day has occurred for well over a century, with the first March 8 International Woman’s Day gathering supported by over a million people in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. Prior to this the Socialist Party of America, United Kingdom’s Suffragists and Suffragettes, and further groups campaigned for women equality. Today, International Women’s Day belongs to all groups collectively everywhere.

This year the men of Golden Robot made preparations to make the lovely ladies of Golden Robot feel special. Flowers, cards, tiaras, chocolates were just a beginning. Fun games & a delicious lunch soon followed. Lastly an album full of photographs of the girls marked an end to the celebrations.
